was really quite good! For a book to movie adaptation, it was awesome. I can only hope that they continue to do well, and well, continue, the rest of the series. The first one will be the easy bit I think.
I really want to reread the series again.

Dance With Me(Nouvelle Vague)
Let's dance little stranger Show me secret sins Love can be like bondage Seduce me once again
Burning like an angel Who has heaven in reprieve Burning like the voodoo man With devils on his sleeve
Won't you dance with me In my world of fantasy Won't you dance with me Ritual fertility
Like an apparition You don't seem real at all Like a premonition Of curses on my soul
The way I want to love you Well it could be against the law I've seen you in a thousand minds You've made the angels fall
Won't you dance with me In my world of fantasy Won't you dance with me Ritual fertility
Come on little stranger There's only one last dance Soon the music's over Let's give it one more chance
Won't you dance with me In my world of fantasy Won't you dance with me Ritual fertility
Take a chance with me In my world of fantasy Won't you dance with me Ritual fertility

I had this dream...I had a stupid arguement with my mum or something, and I was hanging out with some kids in my neighborhood that I was friends with (that don't really exist) and we went to this other persons house and I started making steak...like these huge steaks...and I woke up before I got to eat it, and I woke up so hungry for steak it's not even funny...it was delicious looking/smelling steak...

FUCKCUNTSHITPISS is what goes through my head every time I put weight on or move my left foot.
I hit it weird on a fall in judo, and this morning I woke up in a fair amount of pain...and then I tried to stand up...
I can...I can even walk...but it hurts like hell and I can't really help but walk like I'm crippled...
I really want to get ice cream with Tinisha today...and I will damnit! if I have to dig up some crutches to do it, so be it.
all that aside, I've had a really good week...I'm almost almost done with classes...which is exciting...and yeah things are mostly good!

Vegetable Lamb
by Sophia Pacheco The tale of the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary comes from the Middle Ages, a traveler's tale from the far east. It's full name was 'Planta Tartarica Barometz' - 'barometz' is the Tartar word for 'lamb'. The fruit of the Vegetable Lamb was cotton, but travelers from Europe knew nothing about cotton in those times. They reasoned that the material was wool - a fabric they did know. The figured that since wool came from sheep, and that the plant was some kind of animal/plant. They thought that the puffs of cotton were tiny sheep attached to the plant by their navel. It is said that the plant bent to let the sheep graze on the grass beneath it, and that when all the grass was gone, the sheep dropped from the plant and ran off, the tree dying.

I did not know him well, but he was a kind and loving soul who did not deserve to be murdered. My heart goes out to him and to his family and to the community that feels this great loss.
Rest in peace Robert Busby.

This day, like any other, is what you make of it.
Unfortunately people get caught up in this hallmark holiday bullshit or this idea that they are "alone" and forget to take the good parts of it...
I think that it's nice to have a day to recogize and celebrate love (of any sort especially)
People get caught up in everything else and sometimes it's nice to have a day that sorta goes 'hey, listen up'
A lot of people feel like it puts this spotlight on the fact that they are "alone", that they don't have a romantic relationship...
The focus on what you don't have is your own focus...you are choosing to focus on it. There are other ways to look at this.
I mean that's why, whether I have someone or not, for me today is a day to honor love...of all kinds...not that I don't in general...
just because you should be doing something anyway doesn't mean one shouldn't take the extra opportunity to celebrate it. :)
So I reiterate, This day is what you make of it.

There was a book I read with my dad a long time ago, and I can't remember the title or the author, but I want to reread it...and have for some time...I think it may have had windsong, or windsword or something like that in the title...
What I do remember: The main character was an orphan who was taken in by a city/town/village allied with the "Light" god (who was masculine). It turns out that she was a child from the other side, which the "Light" called either ground-crawlers or earth-crawlers or something like that, that were allied to the other god, or rather, goddess, who was sort of the typical earth-mother goddess.
There were characters that were on the side of the Light who were the imortal...avatars? children? something like that - of the light god. They were three sibilings. Two of them were very cruel, they were a brother and sister that were the right and left eyes of the god (respectively), and a brother, who they kept locked up who wasn't cruel, who was the nose of god.
if you recognize this and can help me find this book, that would be really really really awesome.
thank you!

If I had just a little less self restraint, I would have a very serious knee-high boot problem.
or if I was monitarily wealthy...
I would have more boots than you could conceivably shake a stick at. especially high heeled boots. x_x

God the Devil and Bob is a rediculously funny show.
*God is eating corn-nuts and talking to Bob*
Bob: "I've been trying to get ahold of you all day!" God: "You don't call me Bob, that's not how it works" Bob: "Then what's prayer?" God: "... corn-nut?"
